Spice up your February with great drinks, live music, and good vibes at Blake’s 9th Annual Chili Cook-Off! Join us on Saturday, February 15th from 1–4 PM for a social afternoon of craft hard cider, beer, and endless entertainment. Live music will keep the energy high while you enjoy family-friendly games, cold pints, and unlimited chili samples to keep you fueled.

The day wraps up with the ultimate chili showdown at 4PM, where contestants face off for top honors in categories like four-legged, two-legged, exotic, and no-legged.


Tickets are $23.00 per person in advance or $28.00 at the door, children 2 and under enter free and do not need a ticket

  • Your ticket will include a commemorative logo pint glass, a pint of hard cider/beer (non-alcoholic drink for customers under 21), UNLIMITED CHILI while supplies last, games, and more!
  • Categories of chili to taste and vote on are 4 legged (beef or pork), 2-legged (chicken, duck, etc.), exotic, and no-legged (vegetarian).
  • Chili will be served promptly from 1:00 pm-3:30 pm.
  • Judging & Winners announced at 4:00 pm

  • Chili is located in multiple buildings on property, please dress for the weather and be prepared for the cold. 
  • PRO TIP: Bring a muffin tin to hold and enjoy your samples easily! 

SIGN UP TO BE A CHILI COOKER - $20.00 per chili entry

  • $20 deposit includes admission for chili cooker and helper. Each person will receive a logo pint glass and a pint of hard cider or beer. The chili cooker will receive a commemorative t-shirt as well. Chili Cookers will receive their deposit back upon successful completion of the event.
  • Please prepare at least 2 crock pots of chili to serve - the estimated attendance is 750+ people! The more you bring for others to taste, the better your chances are! We will keep you informed of ticket sales for cooking purposes. 
  • Chili entries need to be on-site promptly between 10:00 am - 11:00 am on the day of the event.
  • Prizes for each category winner & overall grand prize winner!
    • The Grand Prize Winner, will not be eligable to will their category. 
  • Per health department regulations chili will be required to be heated to 165 degrees to serve.
  • All Chili is prepared in noncommercial kitchens. Blake's Hard Cider Co. and Blake Farms is not responsible for any food-borne illness that could be present in the food served. By purchasing this ticket you are assuming all responsibility and acknowledging the possible risks of foodborne illness
